Blueprint is a free learning site run by Rizon Kumar Rahi. This page explains what it stores about you and why. Questions or requests: rizon.kumar.rahi@gmail.com.
Without an account
You can read everything without signing up. Your progress, bookmarks, notes and preferences are then kept only in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to us, and clearing your site data removes them.
With an account
When you create an account, we store:
- Your email address, name and username.
- Your password, as a one-way hash. We never see or store the password itself.
- A profile picture, if you upload one (stored with Cloudinary) or sign in with Google.
- What you create while learning: topic progress, reviews, notes, highlights, study plans, planner tasks, mock interview answers and preferences, so they sync across your devices.
- Your active sessions, including the IP address and browser of each device, so you can see and sign out devices in Settings.
- Short-lived request counts by IP address, used only to block repeated sign-in attempts.
Sharing your progress
If you create a progress link in Insights, we store a snapshot of your numbers: topics done, streaks, active days and progress per track, plus your name only if you choose to show it. Anyone with the link can see that card. Notes, highlights, stories and your email are never part of it. Stopping sharing deletes the snapshot, and the link stops working at once.
Signing in with Google
If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address, whether that email is verified, and your profile picture. That is all we ask for: we cannot read your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data. The sign-in tokens Google returns are stored encrypted with your account and are not used for anything else. You can disconnect Google in Settings when you also have a password.
Cookies and local storage
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to complete a Google sign-in safely. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers. Local storage holds your progress, display preferences and any code you edit in the code workspace, so the site loads quickly.
Who processes your data
We do not sell your data or show ads. These services run parts of the site for us:
- Vercel hosts the site.
- Neon hosts the database that holds your account and learning data.
- Cloudinary stores profile pictures you upload.
- Google provides “Continue with Google” and delivers password reset emails through Gmail.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces of the Designed view of a note.
- When you press Run in the code workspace, the code runs in your browser: React apps load their packages from esm.sh (and Tailwind from jsDelivr when the app uses it), and Java runs in CheerpJ, loaded from Leaning Technologies. Your code and edits are never sent to us or saved to the project.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data is kept while your account exists. Sessions expire on their own, and you can sign out other devices at any time in Settings. To delete your account and everything stored with it, email rizon.kumar.rahi@gmail.com from the address on your account, and it will be removed within 30 days.
